Cabotswood has over 40 years of experience producing high quality handmade footwear. We have designed and manufactured footwear for use in the countryside since the 60’s. Cabotswood is a family-run business based in beautiful North Somerset.
All of our shoes and boots are made from real leather, which is always tanned locally to our factories, creating as little waste as possible.
At Cabotswood we constantly aim to improve both our production techniques and the quality of our finished products. Waterproof and breathable country footwear is what we do, we look forward to being part of your country lifestyle.

We inspect and check every Cow skin prior to cutting to ensure that only the finest materials are used.

Cabotswood boots are lined with “CABOTEX”, our bespoke waterproof and breathable membrane lining. CABOTEX linings ensure your feet stay warm and dry.
At Cabotswood we are best known for our Amberly waterproof and breathable country boots, though we offer a complete choice of styles, Henley Boots are a shorter option, Gatcombe boots offer a slimmer fit, Highgrove boots are designed for a more sporting calf, Wincanton boots offer a full zip entry, the new Cirencester boot offers a rear entry, the Winford boot offers another zip option with three secure Velcro fastenings. All the boots in the Cabotswood range are waterproof and breathable.
All Cabotswood boots use a CABOTEX membrane lining, CABOTEX is designed to keep your feet comfortable. Cabotex allows air to circulate around your feet but also prevents water from permeating the leather outer. CABOTEX has a Tensile strength of >1.0 kgf/cm SATRA TM: 1992.
