Where We Come From

Cabotswood was born from a simple conviction: that a great pair of boots should last a lifetime. We set out to make footwear worthy of the British countryside — the bridleways, woodlands, and fields that define rural life — crafted without compromise and built to be worn, not stored.

Every pair carries the heritage of traditional British bootmaking: time-honoured construction methods, the finest full-grain leathers, and the patience to do things properly.

We work exclusively with full-grain leather — the strongest, most natural part of the hide. Unlike corrected-grain or bonded leathers found in mass-market boots, full-grain leather develops a rich patina over time, conforms to the shape of your foot, and grows more characterful with every walk.

Our boots are constructed using traditional methods — hand-welted, hand-stitched, and finished by craftspeople who take genuine pride in their work. This is not assembly-line footwear. Each pair passes through skilled hands at every stage, from the cutting of the upper to the finishing of the sole.
